The first Avalanche was created by Gemballa in 1984. Since then, the tuners have brought to the market a number of modernized cars, which have united into a kind of family. This includes the Avalanche Roadster, a topless model based on the Porsche 997 Turbo.

The open version of the Gemballa Avalanche, like the coupe, is equipped with an aerodynamic body kit, which includes front and rear spoilers, bumpers, side skirts and panels. In other words, the outwardly "pumped" roadster significantly distanced itself from the base model.

True, this did him good, as he began to better cope with air currents and respond to driver commands.

With the interior, things are as follows. In Gemballa, as a rule, the salon is “adjusted” to the requirements set by the consumer himself. This also happened in the case of the Avalanche Roadster. The "inner world" of the model can be filled with leather, aluminum and wood inserts, carbon fiber décor elements and even diamonds! All this directly depends on the wishes of the client. In addition, the roadster got a sports steering wheel with a full-size airbag, aluminum pedals and bucket seats.

The car is equipped with a power unit with a return of 671 horsepower (925 Nm), paired with a 6-speed Tiptronic box.

The model without a top gains the first "hundred" in 3.1 seconds. At the same time, it is capable of accelerating to 337 km / h. In the urban cycle, the roadster consumes 16.5 liters of fuel for every 100 km, and in the mixed cycle - 11.4 liters. CO2 emissions are at 268 g / km.

The Avalanche Roadster's equipment list includes a high-performance stainless steel exhaust system, a new braking system developed with Brembo's input, and 21-inch alloy wheels that fit under the ventilated wheel arches.
