Nanotechnology is considered one of the most promising areas of modern applied science. This industry is quite new, and big discoveries are yet to come. However, nano-science already boasts a number of achievements.

Nanotechnology (in Russia, the RUSNANO corporation is engaged in developments in the field of nanotechnology) is a field of applied science and technology dealing with objects with dimensions of the order of a nanometer (10 m, 1/1000000000 m). The essence of nanotechnology lies in the possibility of design at the molecular level, which allows the creation of supermicroscopic mechanisms, electronic devices and unique materials artificially constructed from molecules.

One of the first applications of nanotechnology in practice and the production of affordable goods were taken up by world manufacturers of auto chemistry and auto cosmetics. Here nano-technologies have opened up the widest horizons for the creation of new means with unique properties.

The paintwork of the body, among other parts of the car, is the most difficult to protect - there are a lot of factors that contribute to its destruction. Here is the impact of salts, oils and bitumen, abrasives in the form of sand and dirt, fluctuations in temperature, humidity, ultraviolet radiation - in a word, everything that our roads and climate are rich in. Manufacturers of auto chemistry and auto cosmetics have been working on this task for a long time, creating various compositions that protect the paint.

Now manufacturers have a powerful means of fighting the elements for the safety of technology - nano-technology. The first practical tests already show that this is really a new word in autochemistry.

Many major manufacturers have launched new products with nano-components. According to the method of application, these products are no different from ordinary polishes. They are suitable for all types of paintwork, including metallic.
The result of their application is a rich shine and rich color of paint. And, most importantly, the bright result lasts for a long time: much longer than with conventional polishes. The products are not washed off with water and car shampoo, they tolerate body washing and the abrasive effects of road dust and sand. This is how nano components work.
